Covers are rubbed. Spine sunned, but gilt titles are still quite readable. Lower end of spine has been repaired. Hinges have been re-inforced. Portrait frontispiece of Governor Walker. Dedicated to Mrs. Sara T.D. Robinson of Lawrence. This copy has a card glued to front flyleaf with the compliments of the dedicatee. Following the material on Governor Walker, a second part of the book is entitled, "False Claims of Kansas Historians Truthfully Corrected". A notice at the end of the book states that the two titles are actually companion volumes, so this appears to be two-volumes-in-one, perhaps used to entice readers to purchase both volumes. 204-160pp. Size: Octavo.
