About this Item

The original dustjacket is in a fairly good condition. The corner folds and top and bottom of the spine are chipped and creased with quite a few closed edge tears. Priceclipped front prelim but has 5/8 NET ink stamp near the clipped part. In the main, the dustjacket is wholly present apart from these chips mentioned. Overall, it is fairly clean and now housed in a removable archival sleeve. Blue cloth with black lettering and decoration to the spine. Fading to the colour of the cloth on spine top and bottom. The rest is clean. Page block is tightly bound. - The book was published in 1941. It is stated as 'FIRST PUBLISHED 1941' on the copyright page and no other dates or publications are mentioned. Few soiling marks through the book. Foxing is mainly noticeable to the page edges.
