Cloth, viii, 486 pp., plus 2 pp. of advertisements, preface, illustrated, plates, frontispiece, advertisements. Many interesting studies are presented as to how the horse was used in various societies such as the Sioux, Comanches, cowboys, military, trappers, cavalry, etc. Many illustrations by Frederic Remington.
