Legatura in piena pergamena rigida coeva, con titoli in oro al dorso a cinque nervature. Marca tipografica al frontespizio con stemma del dedicatario. Capilettera e fregi calcografici. Alla dedicatoria segue un sonetto di Pompeo Barbarito "Alla Citt� di Napoli". La prima sequenza numerica contiene Rime del Marta ed un sonetto di Vincenzo Bilotti. La seconda comprende "Spositione della Poetica d'Aristotele con Ludovico Castelvetro", "Della Commedia et delle sue parti ("Prologo, Diffinitione, Della Sentenza, Della Traduttione") e "Parallelo tra Francesco Petrarca et Mons. Gio. Della Casa (dedicato al Conte Di Castro"). La terza infine, con frontespizio autonomo, consta delle "Rime di Mons. Gio. Della Casa, sposte dal Signor Sertorio Quattrimano", dedicate a Camilla Gonzaga. Opera postuma di autore napoletano, che contiene anche la prima edizione a stampa dello stimato commento di Sertorio Quattromani, Accademico Cosentino (Cosenza, 1541-1603), alle Rime di Monsignor Della Casa. > Haym, II, 101.
