This small 77 pp. book is a very SCARCE title by the legendary Kentucky author of the "Little Colonel" series of books. This is a FIRST EDITION illustrated by Winifred Bromhall. Every page is beautifully enhanced by border decorations around the text. The book is clean and unmarked except for the first blank flyleaf having a prior owner's signature atop the page, and a short inscription under that. The book is VERY GOOD +, with only a slightly bumped lower right corner. There is beautiful imprinted art on the front board, with the title in gilt.
