About the Author

Robert Bateman has been hailed as the most influential wildlife artist of the 20th century. He is the illustrator of The Art of Robert Bateman, Birds, and Natural Worlds. He lives in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. Rick Archbold is a writer, an editor, a nature conservationist, and the author of Natural Worlds. He lives in Toronto, Ontario.

Store Description

We have been selling books with some success for over twenty years. In 1995, we opened a bookshop in the Peak District village of Castleton and traded successfully there until 2010. In addition to selling through the shop we developed an Internet business and built a reputation for a good and reliable service. The stock, which covers a wide range of subjects, but particularly ornithology and natural history, has constantly been improved, so we now over 9000 volumes of quality books. In March of 2019 we established a shop in the attractive market town of Bakewell in the Peak District National Park.
