Book condition - Good ; no inscriptions, flyleaves tanned from offsetting, textblock a bit dusty with occasional marks, inner hinges sound, binding firm ; publisher's black cloth with title in red on the spine ; corners a bit rubbed and slightly bent, board edges good, back back of clean appearance with very slight patchiness of colour, spine complete with ends rubbed, left edge/back hinge shows evidence of repair (quite neatly done), spine with no marks as such with some light fading of colour and title, front of clean appearance. No dustjacket. Please see photos for indications of condition and contents (though the photos don't do the book justice). The first of the detective novels from the Ellery Queen authors.
