First Edition. Quarter bound in brown leather, with brown boards. Spine with title and author in gilt. Some wear to the extremities. Foxing to end papers. Ex-Libris bookplate of R.E.F.S Bampton. Gold label to end paste down with name of the binder : M Saleh A'Adami, Baghdad. A presentable copy of a scarce title. The play was later adapted into a psychological crime thriller film, directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring James Stewart.
