The book is in excellent condition: very clean covers, no fading or tanning, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, very minor tiny foxing spots to fore-edge of text block otherwise no foxing, tight binding. The three folding maps in the rear pocket are original and are in fine condition. COMPLETE with all pages, illustrations, maps. INCLUDES original tissue-like dust wrapper that is almost always lacking since it is very fragile and serves no purpose other than covering the book (no printing or designs on it), mainly to prevent cover rubbing between copies when in publisher's shipping cartons. This wrapper has some browning, 2cm loss to upper spine, small tear bottom spine, 5cm tear upper rear spine crease. The authors, geologists with the USGS, spent 20 summers studying and exploring the 600 square mile area covered in this book. Excellent, scarce guidebook.
