Brown buckram cloth boards with gilt title block and titles to spine and blind embossed to front board. 220x145 mm approx. Three volumes complete. The books came from the private library of a former employee of the publisher and appear unread. Consequently apart from slight sunning to the spines of the jackets are in near mint condition.They are of interest to any student of geology, geography, exploration and geophysics as well as the general reader. The exploration of Africa, Captain Scott's moving account of his forthcoming expedition to the South Pole and the Everest Expedition of 1922 are well represented.We presently also have in stock the volumes published in the series on Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) Wireless Telegraphy and Astronomy ( Listed separately).
