About this Item
A very good copy (for its age) in a good dust jacket (for its age) of this explanation of the uses and function of RADAR, from the 1940s. Dust Jacket: pictorial laminated paper with black and mauve drawings of radar installations and military personnel to front, and black and mauve lettering to all faces, all on a white ground; rubbing and slight loss to all edges and back of spine, some darkening to spine, all commensurate with age; otherwise surprisingly clean and bright; not price clipped (now protected). Cover: cream coloured cloth covered boards with black lettering to front and spine; only the slightest fading to spine and slightest signs of shelf wear; in extremely good condition for its age (70+ Years). Internally: clean and tightly bound; initials and date (1946) in pencil to front free end paper which also has number 85 in ink; later owner's signature and date (1965) in ink to front paste down; pencil calculations to rear free end paper; issued to war economy standard so paper slightly age marked; otherwise surprisingly clean and bright. 8 Black and white photos and other line drawings throughout. 140 pp. Seller Inventory # 002326
