About this Item

"FIRST EDITION" on its copyright page, and publisher's original "$2.50" price on its jacket's un-clipped front flap. This book is in very good+ condition, marred only by light bumps on its covers' front top corner, back bottom corner, and spine ends. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on its spine. Pages are unmarked and unworn. Its first state dust jacket (green and black ink on white paper), now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in very good condition: whole, bright, and unmarked, with a tiny chip in the bottom edge of its back, a 1/2" scrape in the bottom of its back flap fold, and some very light soiling on its back along the flap fold edge. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.

Items will be carefully packaged to assure they arrive as described.
All shipments will be via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise. Standard shipping within the USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority shipping within the USA will be via USPS First Class Mail.
My current Standard shipping rate within the USA is US$4.00 for the first book, and US$2.00 for additional books in the same order.
There are two situations where I will refund to the buyer a portion of the postage charged by ABEBOOKS: (1) Separate orders placed on the same date for shipment to the same address will be shipped together, so I will refund half of the postage paid for the first book in each such second and subsequent order. And (2) Books described as "paperbacks" in my descriptions weigh less than other books, so I will refund US$1.00 of the paid shipping fee for the 2nd and subsequent paperbacks in the same order shipping to the same address.
