SIGNED. 183pp. Octavo [23 cm] Brown cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine and triple blind ruled borders on the covers. Very good. The spine ends and corners of the covers are moderately bumped and rubbed. There is a short tear in the top edge of the front free endsheet, and there is a previous owner's blind stamp on the front flyleaf. The pages are tanned. Studies in History, Economics and Public Law Edited by the Faculty of Political Science of Columbia University Volume LXI, Number 1, Whole Number 148. This study has divided itself into three parts: 1) the history and form of organization, 2) trade regulations and the means by which they are enforced (standard pay rate and uniform hours of service), and 3) the beneficiary activities of the Order of Railway Conductors.
