Rambles in Europe

12mo 247pp. from TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS: "This is what is usually called a preface, that is, something which comes before the real story of the book. The preface tells you what the story is about and what it is like so that you will know whether you will want to read the book. This is a true story about an enjoyable trip, for once some children and I (who am not very grown up in the way I enjoy things) went to Europe. And what curious things we found out about the people who live there!" #03071. Book G: soil to boards and spine, stain bottom corner of text block edge, evidence of damp stain bottom of text block, pencil marks last two pages of index else unmarked, binding tight.
