Item description from seller

Rare. Brown cloth covered boards, with gilt lettering on the cover and along the spine. This scholarly work is vii + 216 pages in length. Our copy is perfectly clean and in fine+ condition. Photographs are available. "A reign as long and amply attested as that of Ramses II offers the possibility of developing a chronological sequence of royal activities in a way similar to that which has been done for larger time periods. Though a general framework has been known, this study was undertaken to evolve a basic chronology of events for his reign and establish a structure into which the numerous undated material may subsequently be placed. Therefore the research is based upon those inscriptions and texts which contain regnal dates. Based on the author's doctoral dissertation".

A large collection of privately owned publications, mostly relating to ancient Egypt (all periods), Nubia, and the surrounding areas, which have been gathered together over the course of the last fifty years. Books range from second-hand in good condition to extremely rare, with a number of recently acquired brand new volumes. Over the years I have also procured a selection of withdrawn university library books. The collection further includes a significant number of scholarly journals and popular magazines about the ancient world. Please browse the titles currently available. Additional works are still being added. There are hundreds more yet to be listed. If you should have any questions about any of these offerings, please feel free to inquire. Emails are attempted to be answered in an expeditious manner. Your purchases are always carefully wrapped and shipped promptly. The books come from a smoke-free household.
