Original publisher's blue cloth binding with gilt lettering and decoration on front cover and gilt lettering on spine. Top edge gilt. 7" x 10 1/4." Ninety-three pages, complete. Black and white plates, complete. Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Binding is tight. A beautiful, clean copy with plates by John Albert Seaford that show scenes and landmarks around Boston. Seemingly unread. The following is printed after the copyright page: "The Associated Banks, Trust Companies, and Bankers of Boston present this book as a souvenir of the Thirty-ninth Annual Convention of the American Bankers Association. It is offered in loyalty and affection for our city, and in the hope that it may convey to you something of Boston, her people, her traditions and her associations. Please feel that bound inseparably within its covers is a little of ourselves, with full measure of good wishes, in remembrance of your visit to Boston." John Albert Seaford (1858-1936) was an American artist known for creating historical of cities and countrysides in different media. Seaford split time between living in Richmond, Indiana and Boston, Massachusetts and depicted those two cities the most in his work. Henry P.
