Spine a bit faded, uneven fading to front cover, otherwise a tight clean copy - one of 1250 copies, designed by W.A. Dwiggins, and set in Arcadia, a new type face designed by Dwiggins and used here in a book for the first time. There is a section, "From the Borzoi Kennel" that shows all the Borzoi marks, most of them by Dwiggins, but also by other designers, including John Cleland, Boris Artzybasheff, Warren Chappell and Paul Rand. There is also a b/w drawing of Knopf by Covarrubias as a frontispiece.
