Here, boys and girls, in this 2nd printing of the paperback original, set "Against a background of Mexico's hills and deserts and simple villagers," we have "Love, passion, cruelty and ignorance" all mixed up with "a lusty patchwork of passion, murder and childbirth" (childbirth, you wonder? Well what do you expect when you have two portions of passion and only one portion of murder?) 184 pages. Moderately cocked, some waviness down spine edges of both covers, rubbing, thin corner creases, thin reading crease along left edge of front cover, dampstaining to edges/title page/bottom edges of first few pages, staining to inside edges of rear end paper. Internally very tight. The vertical white lines throughout the blue portion of the front cover look like creases, but they're part of the cover illustration. (And by the way, could the waist on that lounging temptress be any thinner? I bet there are still meals in there from last year.) Scarce. Size: 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 019408
