Uncommon staple-bound catalogue produced for the inaugural exhibition of Johnson collages and mailings at Raven Row, London. Unpaginated (about 50) with color & b/ images. Written in ink on the title page are "Jill p. 20" and "Bill" referring to the drawing "Untitled - May Wilson" on p.20 in which artist's and writer's names appear attached to a pony with a human head. Bill is William S. Wilson and Jill is Jill Johnston from whose library this item comes. It also bears her rubber stamp which reads "Write First. Then Live., JJ" Jill Johnston was a cultural, literary and dance critic, a memoirist, a radical lesbian feminist and a champion of the avant-garde. She & Ray Johnson had many dealings beginning early 60s; he called her his "dangerous dance critic sister". Wraps show light edge-war, tiny spot to front, scuff to rear and some yellowing along spine.

Shipping terms
We use the trusty old -- ahem -- USPS for domestic shipments unless otherwise requested and charge the current rate plus $1 for handling. We're in a very small town but if you request a different shipping method we'll try to honor that. Overseas Priority flat-rate envelopes begin at US$40.70 (with $4 handling charge included), medium flat-rate boxes are US$75.75 (with $4 handling charge included). All quoted shipping costs are based on a 4-pound package. The costs quoted for international shipping and handling should certainly be considered good-faith estimates ONLY. International shipments will be sent at the most cost-effective method possible. If the actual cost is reduced, we will not notify you. If it needs to be increased, we will contact you through ABEbooks and request an increase to cover our costs, which include postage materials and time. WE DO NOT MAKE MONEY ON SHIPPING!
