The third issue, with a mixed issue of plates - as usual - and with the two extra plates not called for, but often present. The binding is probably third quarter 19th century as the bookplate in the inside cover is dated January, 1878. A penciled note on the inside front board observes some cutting into the inscription below engraved titles - which it states is "as usual" A good solid copy of a popular color plate book - Tooley 198 .
