Born: 1860 in Glengarry County , Died: 1937 He served as a minister in western Canada and later in Winnipeg His experiences on the Canadian frontier deeply influenced his writing. Ralph Connor?s novels focused on Life in the Canadian West Moral and religious values Community, courage, and personal growth, the challenges faced by settlers, missionaries, and Indigenous peoples. His stories often combined adventure with strong moral lessons, which made them very popular with readers of his time. He was one of the first Canadian authors to achieve international bestseller status.
