379 pgs, 4 maps, photographs, appendix, index. Very good hardcover copy in cloth. Light wear to corners and edges; top edge gilt; a few marginal notes in light pencil. Previous owner's bookplate. "Friday, July 29th [1864]: We made an early start. Met some stragglers from the Sixth Corps not behaving creditably. We stopped within a mile of Urbana, put up at an old-fashioned country tavern, and I slept in the garret." (804).

(Currently looking for a new home after 27 years). We are a medium sized open shop--complete with 2 bookstore cats--located in Berryville, Virginia, about 60 miles west of Washington, DC. We are just off of Routes 7 and 340, and about 10 miles east of I-81 at the Winchester exit. Our store is open Thursday & Friday from noon until 5PM (usually later on Friday), Saturday 10AM until 5PM and we are usually open other days and longer hours in the summer.
