The author's reminiscences of Rugby School in the early years of the 19th century. Notable for a chapter on 'Football' which gives one of the earliest descriptions of the game which later became Rugby Union. 12mo. 180pp. Frontispiece of the School from The Close. Original cloth, lightly worn at margins and extremities of the spine but overall very good and scarce.
