Poppeliers' copy, with his manuscript signature in printed form, and address, on the front endpaper. He was head of the Historical American Buildings Survey (1971-1980) and coauthor of What Style Is It? Laid in, a piece of yellow note pad paper, with manuscript notes in ink and pencil by Jack Boucher, citing the location in the book of those photographs he took. Boucher was a noted photographer of architecture for the National Park Service's Historic American Buildings Survey.
