Wallace in the original publisher's cloth binding.A very scarce work with no other editions held in libraries.Published as part of the Experimental Psychology Monographs series of which there are two. This is the second, following 'The Methods and Results of Experiments on the Discrimination of Shape by Animals' by N. S. Sutherland (1961).With illustrations throughout the text and two monochrome plates. Collated. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, sound. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The rear hinge is slightly cracked with some slight loss to the cloth. There is some light marking to the boards probably from removal of a label or similar. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Good. Seller Inventory # 848W45
