Red cloth binding. Outer and lower page edges untrimmed. Very slight foxing to top page edge, otherwise in very clean condition throughout. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper (Sir Philip Brocklehurst, Swythamley Park, Macclesfield. Best known as a member of Shackleton's 1907 Nimrod expedition to Antarctica). Scarce.
