Regional Economic Problems: Comparative Experiences of some Market Economies

A quick internet search will reveal that this book has been cited many hundreds of times. There are several different aspects of Regional Economic Problems that it is essential that a first-year university economics course should cover. One of the problems facing the lecturer is that many of the subjects are incomprehensible until one knows sufficient about other aspects to follow their meaning, or to appreciate that they are important enough to justify some degree of hard slog in tackling them. This book aims to provide the fundamental knowledge that a student requires in order that they may have a solid foundation from which to work.
