Complete two volume set. Quarter parchment with green cloth boards. Foxing to spines. Volume II has damage to the spine with old tape repairs. Lighter wear to spine of volume I. Marking to boards and wear to edges. Heavy tanning to free endpapers. A few pencilled margin markings to text. A very scarce work, list of subscribers in Volume I has 70 copies and in Volume II has 76 copies. Burials volume is particularly interesting as it occasionally lists the occupation of the deceased ('a poore travelling creepie'), and the cause of death ('the plague'; 'executed prisoner' etc.) In January 1630 three witches were buried.
