A fictionalized account of the life of Jesse Livermore, who rose from "board boy" in a Boston brokerage office to become one of the most successful speculators on Wall Street. The inside story of the stock market and the man who found a "system" that worked. Considered a must-read classic by most anyone involved in the financial community. Despite the book's age, it continues to offer insights into the art of trading and speculation. Insights found within these pages have inspired countless generations of investors and made this one of the foremost investment classics. First appeared in the 1920's as a series of articles and illustrations in The Saturday Evening Post. These grew out of interviews LeFèvre conducted with Livermore to whom he dedicated this book. LeFèvre also penned "The Making of a Stockbroker" and "Wall Street Stories." Profits are made in bull and bear markets - but especially in volatile ones. 299 pages. Insured post.
