Mitchell (1859-1917), a physician, was the son of prominent Philadelphia physician, early psychiatrist and novelist S. Weir Mitchell (1829-1914). This study on nerve injuries is both indebted to his father's research and dedicated to him. With a complimentary card from the author laid in.
