The first edition of the 3rd report on the colony giving a detailed description of the agriculture and trade of New South Wales & Van Diemen's Land. Covers the use of convicts as unpaid labour for rich landowners, the indigenous peoples, medical establishments, etc. Internally very good, half bound with a badly chipped spine showing wear. Uncommon with only 5 copies in on-line COPAC. Two leaves (gathering H) are lightly embrowned as is relatively common with the occasional use of inferior paper by printers.
