See photos for condition details. Hardcover, original publication in original binding of dark blue cloth boards, blind stamped on front stating "HOUSE DOCUMENTS". Exterior shows soiling to spine along with edge and corner bumps, top edge of spines chipped away. The upper outside edge of both front and rear boards shows fading and softening from water damage. This caused dampstains on the majority of the pages in this area. Internal binding is good and pages are secure. Paper is toned due to age with some pages being darker than others, foxing is present throughout as are the dampstains mentioned earlier. Front end page has a very faded out signature of the original owner along with an 1854 date. No other handwriting found in book, no library markings present.
