4to, xvii + pp497 with double page fold out chart , fold out plate of Design for fish passage over a mill weir and other charts throughout. Hardcover issued without DJ. Dark blue buckram with gilt titles to spine in very good condition with a little creasing to spine and old sticker mark to bottom of rear board. Inside a few "Office of Woods" library stamps to ffe papers otherwise all pages and fold outs in excellent clean and bright condition with a touch of yellowing. An excellent copy of these complete minutes. After 16 days of sitting the committee eventually concluded "That, with a view to the improvement of the Salmon Fisheries in Scotland, all cruives and fixed engines of whatever kind, both in the rivers and in the seas, should be abolished" although a more moderate bill was approved. A very nice copy. Scarce.
