First printing of first edition, with original silver print frontispiece photo tipped in showing corona of the sun in four phases, plus ten other illustrations, some folding, and including a map of the region near the eclipse station. Book is clean, crisp, and tightly bound. Front board has a small patch of dullness at corner. Otherwise the book is in excellent condition. It was printed by the authority of the regents of the University of California; the observation expedition was funded by Mrs. Phebe Hearst. 8vo. 126 pp. Plus an ad.
