A remarkable, and foundational document of the CCF movement printed in the month immediately preceding the cessation of hostilities in the Second World War. Recording the deliberations of an ambitious gathering of the various national and provincial branches of the party, and outlining a robust socialist post-war vision for Canada and the World. Organized into five numbered sections representative of the various provincial and national associations - National, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick (including two separately lain-in leaves of resolutions by the Alberta branch). It details the national movement's stunningly progressive views on various national and international public policy issues such as the CCF's ultimately successful determination to enact a universal national health care program for Canadians (referred to as socialized health care), strong condemnations of the internment of Japanese-Canadians in the aftermath of the Second World War, views on immigrations (quotas, assimilation policies, etc.), advocating for the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine in light of the German-perpetrated holocaust, and additional resolutions relating to Indian independence, and much else.
