Resolutions of High Strangeness

Brasilia: Raphus Press:, 2026. First edition, Hardcover, New sans dust jacket as issued, 106 pp. This edition limited to 50 numbered copies. "Since the 1960s, literature exploring the atrocious and terrifying aspects of reality and humanity has often drawn its unsettling inspiration from the everyday, the peaceful facets of daily life that seemingly harbor no inherent horror. Handling this typically banal material can be challenging for many writers. However, this is not the case with Christian Riley. In his second collection published by Raphus Press, aptly titled Resolutions of High Strangeness, as well as in his first volume of short stories published with us, Notes From Undersea, already a horrific classic, Riley presents tales imbued with both a certain irony and strange terrors embedded within everyday life, lurking beneath the reassuring veneer of gray normality." First edition, Hardcover, New sans dust jacket as issued.
