First Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Near fine book in a very good unclipped dust jacket. Book has light bumping to the bottom of the spine. The jacket has light wear and creasing to the edges with short tears to the front panel tip and upper spine. Light restoration to the verso of the spine and the top front fold. Ownership signature of Bill Gass to the front flyleaf. William Gass had his first novel, Omsetter's Luck, published by North American Library the same year as Gardner's The Resurrection . Gass had also been included in the first issue of MSS, the short lived literary magazine founded and edited by Gardner in the early 1960's. A nice association copy linking two of the major American writers from the second half of the Twentieth Century.Housed in a blue cloth Solander case.
