The editor and eleven other authors contribute to this 267 page volume. Contribution number 9 has some b/w maps, otherwise contents are strictly textual. Read more about : draggers, Fogo Island Cooperative, forest service, cod stocks, Eco-Research, nearshore, longliners, Grey Rock Harbour, and Northwest Atlantic. Rob Kean, Bonnie J. McCay, and Barabara Neis are three of the writers included. Cond : Papper wrapper iis mottled green. J.A. Kraulis did the front cover colour photo of a quiet fishing community. Spine fine, colours bright. Minimal soiling. Minor hi-lighting by a p/o (university student). Excellent reading copy. Quote (p. 144) : " One fisher expressed strong feelings that the community solidarity that once existed in Petty Harbour has disappeared .
