Spontaneous meals at home with friends form the foundation of this dazzling collection of recipes that are easy enough for novices yet so inspired they could be restaurant-worthy. The result of a rare sabbatical from this famed chef's 4-star kitchen, A Return to Cooking is "an unprecedented look at the creative process of one of the world’s best chefs" (Anthony Bourdain) as Eric Ripert prepares simple meals for friends in different locations, using ingredients at hand.
Expect to be enchanted by Eric's lack of pretense and his irrepressible joie—a chef who likes American mayonnaise and alphabet pasta, but can also lecture on subjects as diverse as the power of vinaigrette and the merits of Tabasco, shallots, and coconut milk. And every bit as fascinating is the bird's-eye view of the magic that occurs when decades of cooking experience coalesce with the forces of a chef's intuition.

Terms of sale
Postage is based on the weight. We have created different shipping templates for different kinds of items that we sell based on the weight class of books, but also on the value of certain other items that require specialized shipping.
We have 7 different shipping templates: One for light items such as Audio Cds, four for books and two for comic books.
As a example, for most books weighing up to 2.9 lbs (1.3kg) standard postage within Canada is $11.99USD to the USA with Media Mail is $7.99USD and for "standard" International mail is $36.00USD. GST is charged on books and shipping for all Canadian customers.
The shipping templates have a default amount for a second book in the same order but this applies only to items of the same weight class or category. For example, the second CD is charged at $6. Obviously we cannot send a CD and then a second book weighing 7 lbs for a total of $12. We recommend that for orders of multiple items, to contact us to get a quote for shipping. Books requiring special shipping or priority shipping will be quoted. We are glad to quote delivery costs to International buyers. International shipping has become more complicated so it is best to contact us as to the cost and time required for delivery.
Books are carefully wrapped and usually shipped in corrugated cardboard cartons. Books are returnable for a full refund if the book is not as described. The book price only will be refunded for any other reason. Please notify JWMah in advance of any return within 7 days of receipt of the book before sending it back so that we can give you the correct return address for your particular location. .
