The dark green boards have the title stamped in gilt on the front cover surrounded by a stamped frame. The back panel only has the stamped frame. The book measures approximately 5 1/2 inches by 7 inches. The 137 pages are toned but not brittle and are without marks. However, the verso side of the last page of text has a horizontal pencil line the width of the page starting about a quarter inch from the bottom and tapering toward the gutter. The rear past down has a 2 1/4 inch tear at the inside hinge just above the gutter. The 1885 date is on the copyright page and the title page. The boards have wear along the edges and the spine ends. The corners are bumped and bottom tips have the board showing through the cloth covering. Seller Inventory # Sp494
