With two colour frontispiece drawings by J.R.R.Tolkien, and seventeen further drawings, maps, and facsimile manuscript reproductions in the text. A touch of bruising to the base of the backstrip, else a fine copy in very good non-price-clipped dust wrapper, marred by a trace of light dust soiling, and a touch of wear to the spine panel ends. The eighth volume of Christopher Tolkien's 'The History of Middle Earth' series.
