A Ring and a Riddle

A Ring and a Riddle was written by M. Ilin and E. Segal, translated by Beatrice Kinkead, and illustrated by Vera Bock. The book was published by The Junior Literary Guild in 1944 and is a stated First Edition. (though that has to be American First Edition) It's an ex-library copy and only in good condition with library markings and library wear, particularly so to all corners. It has no dust jacket. The book is 7 5/8" by 10 1/8" and has 75 pages with black-and-white and three-color illustrations throughout. "This is not just an ordinary fairy story - it is a riddle-story.
