An unusually well-preserved copy of a very scarce title, internally clean and clear throughout apart from some very light toning towards top page edges, and very occasional faint marginal spots. Includes extensive black & white illustration, and four full-page colour lithograph plates, very well-preserved. Top page edges are slightly browned. Covers are generally rubbed , browned, and a little worn, most notably bearing small bumps and scrapes to covers and to ends of spine.
