Original stapled wraps, 11-1/2 inches tall, pp. 64, illustrated with B&W photos throughout. Covers with creases, short closed tears and soil, text toned. June with back cover missing, stains and closed tears to front cover; August with closed tear at spine; most issues have the price changed to 30 cents by a red or black pencil and a small date rubber stamp. Charles Atlas ads to rear covers. All together six issues. April issue with Bobo Olson, Ernie Durando, Randy Turpin, Charles Humez cover; June issue with Randy Turpin, Charles Humez cover; August issue with Carl (Bobo) Olson cover; October issue with Rocky Marciano cover; November issue with Dupas, Patterson, Giovanelli, Moody, Perez cover; Dec. issue withRandy Turpin, Bobo Olson bout cover. The Ring magazine - first published in New York City in 1922 - is the oldest existing sports publication in the United States.
