Dark blue backstrip. The frontispiece & 6 additional pages within text feature full-page color illustrations by Marguerite Kirmse. There are also lots of black & white illustrations by Marguerite Kirmse throughout the book. The endpapers have a black & white scene. The book is clean & very tight. The boards have some soiling, wear & deep edgewear with bumped corners that have fraying. The illustrations on the boards are bright & colorful. The backstrip has a little edgewear on the top & bottom. The endpapers have a vertical lline of light glue show-through at the hinge.
