Demy quarto, bound in light brown diced calf with floral decorations in blind and gilt, rebacked in similar with decorations in blind, gilt ruling and gilt titles, all edges gilt and gauffered, marbled endpapers. Tipped into the page preceding the half-title of Rokeby is an advertisement for the upcoming second edition of Rokeby. Bound after The Vision of Don Roderick are an additional 8 numbered pages of ads, not found in Todd and Bowden. Binding remains very sturdy, a bit of rubbing and scratching to covers, trace of a stain to rear cover, corners worn. Internally remarkably clean, minimal foxing, small dampstain to several of the last few pages near upper. Final 8 pages of ads toned and foxed, with a touch of wear to the final page.
