First UK edition/first edition thus, softcover, has a purple remainder line across the tail of the text block near the binding, moderate bumps with mild creasing to the cover corners with a touch of creasing to the corners of some pages, slighter bumps to the spine ends, rubbing with light edge wear to the covers, a few small, faint spots to the covers and the edges of the text block, and shallow soiling with a touch of softening and delaminating to about 2.5" along the fore edge of the front cover. Otherwise, this is a solid, tight, bright Near Very Good copy.
