First Edition. Decorated binding, design not attributed. No DJ; covers show shelf wear, mostly near the edges. Front hinge weakening. Prior owner's initials on the FEP; some age-related browning and water staining of the FFEP; otherwise, unmarked pages. Profusely illustrated with drawings and photographs. This classic work has been reprinted in several formats, but nothing compares with owning a book in the original first edition state. More images and/or description can be sent on request.
