Condition: Good. 1931. First Edition. 282 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Black and white photographic frontispiece. Pages bright with some tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Binding remains firm. Previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners, crushing to spine ends and rubbing and moderate staining all over. Gilt lettering is dulled. Boards are slightly bowed.
