First Edition Thus. Original Wraps. The cover is by Allen Ginsberg, and the work (a pamphlet of 12 staplebound pages in 3 paper colors) was produced on a mimeograph in an edition of 500 copies, though apparently a significant number were destroyed by the mimeo. Originally intended for inclusion in The Yage Letters, it was considered so obscene it was cut by the English printers. An earlier version appeared in the journal Floating Bear (1961) before Ed Sanders printed this separate edition. [Maynard & Miles, A9] A handsome copy. Minor shelf/edge wear, else tight, bright, and unmarred. Printed pink wraps, and pink, blue, and white papper texkblock. Limited edition of 500 copies.
